GENOMICS
A comprehensive 63-gene panel to assess inherited cancer risk across 11 primary cancer types, including breast, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, and more.
ABOUT THIS SCREENING
Cancer can develop for many reasons. Some genetic changes are inherited, while others occur over time due to environmental exposures or natural errors as cells divide. It is estimated that up to 10% of cancers are linked to inherited genetic changes.
Inheriting a cancer-related genetic variant does not mean you will develop cancer, but it can increase your risk. Hereditary cancer screening is a blood test that looks for specific genetic changes that may increase your likelihood of developing certain cancers, helping guide more personalized screening and preventive care.
We offer hereditary cancer testing using Myriad’s MyRisk, which evaluates 63 genes across 11 common cancer types including breast, ovarian, endometrial/uterine, prostate, pancreatic, colorectal, skin, gastric, renal, lung, and endocrine cancers. This testing follows established clinical guidelines and offers a comprehensive assessment of inherited cancer risk.
